WooHoo! I've had two books published on Kindle, the third to be release soon, and I finally own a Kindle... a real Kindle. Yay, I'm so excited. I've been reading on my Android phone for quite a while now, which is great and has certainly made my house much less cluttered, but this is just so awesome!
It synced right up with the books I'd already downloaded. I can totally see the screen in direct sunlight. It's not bulky and feels good to hold, especially with the cover making it seem like a paper book. I am one happy birthday girl!
I can't wait to take it on vacation with me (and leave the phone and easy access to people I may not want to hear from at home). From a writer's perspective, I'm really looking forward to editing my book in the format it's intended for before it hits the marketplace too.
Okay, time for me to go do some heavy procrastinating on finishing the next book while I play with my new toy. Have a great day everyone!
