Finished reading Three Girls and a Baby tonight by Rachel Schurig and can't believe this is a debut novel! Absolutely adorable storyline with real characters and an interesting approach to a subject that could have been predictable and, well, boring. Not this book! I can't even express how much I enjoyed reading it!This is the epitome of the chick-lit genre: fun, funny, girly, and little bit heartwarming.
From the Product Description:
"Ginny McKensie's life is spiraling out of control.
Finished with college, she should have been planning her wedding. After all, Ginny and Josh were made for each other—everyone said so. Except the love of her life didn't agree.
Now Ginny is back in her hometown, unwillingly single, and stuck in a dead-end job. When she discovers she's pregnant, Ginny is convinced her life is ending. Instead of planning a future with Josh, she's learning the truth about morning sickness, juggling bills, and seeing just how far designer jeans can stretch.
Her life-plan never included dating again (not even with her too-hot new boss), or being a single mother at 23. Now, with the help of her best friends, Annie and Jen, Ginny must try to re-imagine—and rebuild—a life she never wanted."
I think the synopsis does a good job of letting you know what the story is about, so I'm not going to go into further detail and risk giving anything away. Suffice it to say that if you enjoy romance, chick-lit, and everything in between, you will enjoy this book.
What are you waiting for? Go buy it now!
Happy reading!

- I am an avid reader, animal lover, devourer of guacamole, storyteller and the author of An Unexpected Obsession, A Dose of Reality, Witch Way, A Coven by Christmas, Love Spells, Summer Solstice (coming soon), Flirting With Death, Flirting With Murder and the rest of the upcoming Assassins Anonymous series. I attended Arizona State University (go Sun Devils!) and make my home in the Valley of the Sun with my husband and three pampered pets. I like to discuss everything funny, sexy, sassy and absurd. But mostly I like to talk about books... and shoes... and outrageously expensive purses... and Chanel sunglasses ...oooh, and anything sparkly... or fluffy! So, come on in and let's chat!
